Blepharoplasty & Eyelid Surgery
Blepharoplasty is a surgical procedure to remove the excess hooding of skin on the eyelids.
This hooding can cause a feeling of excess weight on the upper eyelids and can also interfere with the upper peripheral vision. This surgery can be performed under local anaesthesia with or without sedation or general anaesthesia.
Dr Chadha has performed hundreds of these operations and has an excellent track record of good functional and cosmetic results.
Dr Chadha has received specialist training in eyelid surgery in Edinburgh and Glasgow and performs eyelid surgeries routinely in his NHS and Private practice.
These include blepharoplasties, ptosis surgeries, ectropion and entropion correction surgeries, surgeries for thyroid eye disease and many others.

The majority of lumps and bumps on the eyelids are benign and include cysts, papillomas and freckles and can be managed with a simple and short surgical procedure
Watery Eye
A watery eye may be caused by a number of reasons and this includes eyelid problems. A careful examination usually reveals the cause and the treatment can be individually tailored to your eyes.
Rodent Ulcers and Eyelid Cancers
The most common eyelid cancer is a Basal Cell Carcinoma also known as a Rodent Ulcer. A clinical examination is often enough to diagnose this but we like to perform a small biopsy to confirm the diagnosis as it is such an important diagnosis for the patient
